Workshop Announcement


Dear colleague,

we are pleased to announce the 5th AGILE Workshop that will be held at the ASI Science Data Center (ASDC) c/o ESA/ESRIN in Frascati from 12th to 13th of June 2008.

AGILE (Astro-rivelatore Gamma a Immagini Leggero) has recently completed its first year of operation and has entered a phase of full scientific exploitation of the observation plan. The Workshop is devoted to present the status of the AGILE mission, the most recent scientific results and the future science plans also in connection with the coming launch of GLAST and the sinergies with other space borne and ground based observatories including INTEGRAL, SWIFT, SUZAKU, HESS, MAGIC, VERITAS, and others.

A limited number of contributed talks can be inserted in the program, please send abstracts to the web address given below (deadline for abstract submission: June 4th, 2008).

Important dates are:

- May 31st : registration deadline
- June 6th : final program release
- June 12th: Workshop start
- June 13th: Workshop end
